Returning home after six years away, the artist was struck by how my family's daily routines revealed different aspects of them that she overlooked. She began to view them as literary figures with sophisticated characteristics - the boredom with the known and confusion with the unknown subtly revealed through their actions.
Seeking to capture their essence beyond just family ties, she explored their unique relationships with their home spaces. The photographs, imbued with nostalgia, show a deeper connection between herself, her family, and their home.
